Me and Jonno22 are just back from exploring the Buchanan Street Tunnel. Jonno22 will have some of his excellent photography up later.
Some interesting findings when we reached the now back filled north portal (for those that haven't explored this tunnel before) _________________ "No Frills" Airline,,,You cannot board the plane unless you have the exact change

Hi all. I've uploaded a gallery with my photographs from my two visits to abandoned and disused Balgray Tunnel and Kelvinside station in Glasgow's West End. The tunnel and station were part of the 'Beeching Axe'in 1964. Inside the tunnel wooden sleepers still remain as well as the original ballast. The tunnel also all in all remains in good tact with very little flooding. Kelvinside station still has its part of both its platforms still in tact also. More information can be found inside the commentary box and the image captions which I am in the middle of typing out at the moment. The gallery contains 19 photographs all in all. Any memories from back in the day when the station and tunnel was open would be interesting to hear.
