Norrie,
Just a wee word of thanks for taking the trouble to capture these images. I've just recently re-connected
with my sister in Australia, who I hadn't heard from in forty years. She lived in the Hangingshaw Place
prefabs between '49 and '55 and was delighted when I linked her with your pictures.
So, next time you're schlepping around in the sopping rain and yer feet are killin' ye', just remember
.......your pictures are making someone, somewhere in the world, smile.

Passed this a few times, I must get down for a pic...... Nice take on it though.


Did you get permission for the pics at St. Francis or did you just wander in ?

Hi Fastnet , there was an open top bus tour of Gorbals a few weeks ago, we left from St Francis, there was a guide who took us up to the Hidden Chapel and up to the alter, the rest of the time I wandered around taking shots
You can ask for a tour, as long as there is nothing going on
