Some great stuff posted here, and some great memories to go with it.

Re the primary schools closed down, I went to St. Scholatica's in Arnisdale St from 1972 to '79.
It was closed down some time later and now newly built housing is in it's place.

One of the great things growing up in Easterhouse was the farmland all around. We used to play down near the canal accessing it from Buchlyvie St. Before the motorway was built.
