Tradeston the building at 71/73 tradeston street is the old coop building and a very nice building it is and there is a stone above the doorway in commemoration of coop members who died in the first world war now as this area is earmarked for regeneration wouldn't it be nice if that stone was taken to another place for rememberance instead of ending up in a landfill site .
I remember drinking in the pub on the end in the late 70's early 80's. Can't remember what it was called then. Final stop off before hitting the Plaza.
The little hut-like building on the left? Up until a couple of years ago it was Binghams but now it's a Coffee and Creamz or some such thing. Binghams demise was no loss but I don't think Coffee and Creamz is much of a gain either.
First post and eager to give the site a once over.
