Well never quite got as far as Egypt due to the un-timely passing of the wifes mother so had to cancel... Wife decided that right after the funeral we were off so ended up with a 5* 2 week break in Turkey thanks to Teletext... Funny as hell sitting by the pool listening to the toffs moaning about how much it had cost them and knowing we were sitting there for 1/5th the price. Not quite got them all sorted out yet but thoroughly recommend visiting... Not too noisy like Marmaris is not to much in the way of Hassle-Hassle Bloody 104 degrees for 2 days even the locals hid for those 2 days... I was in Turkey a few years ago but didn't like it.
