Work is progressing at the Winter Garden in Silverburn.
I managed to get permission to take some photos last week.
The official opening should take place sometime in March. _________________ I had a dream today

As we get closer to the formal opening of Silverburn I thought it would be a good time to post a couple of aerial views of the first proposal to develope the Pollok Township Centre from the early 1990's.
Original Aerial view of the site (note M77 under construction)
Open plan layout including Business & Industrial Park East of the motorway

Top shops join mall with 300,000 visitors a week
GLASGOW'S newest shopping mall has landed more top high street names - as
the number of shoppers flocking to its stores tops 300,000 a week.
The £350million Silverburn centre, which opened last October, is about to
reach almost 100% occupancy with the addition of a string of new retailers.
Bosses today announced seven stores would open over the next six weeks.
Fashion retailer Zara, hip urban clothes brand Superdry and menswear
stores Remus Uomo and Suits You will join retailers at the Pollok mall.
Accessories store Bags etc, Ortak - whose jewellery is modelled by
former Miss Scotland Nieve Jennings, pictured right - and Past Times will
follow at the end of September.
It will bring the total to more than 70 stores and 13 eateries.
The mall has also just added Zavvi, which opened at the beginning of
August, to its line-up after customer research identified the need for a
music and book store.
The Fuel Juice Bar has also joined the food and drink outlets.
