Hi All,It would indeed be brilliant if the chickens in question did indeed belong to Fjord's wife's grandfather.Fjord would you possibly know how far up Peat Rd. the Grandfather lived?

In it's final days.



Many of the staff at the NSB will have memories of a special night at the social club either celebrating some event or just having a great night out. There may als be many local people who knew someone who was a member of the social Club and after getting signed in enjoyed a night out here.



Now sadly after many years of loyal service to the staff members the club is closing.

Does anyone remember the sweet shop on Nitshill Road and the corner of Pinmore Street called Annies she had a 1/2 penny 1 penny trays of sweets and Sams sweet shop on Prestwick Street across from the first Levern Primary School in Nitshill

There was chickens at the start of what is Cleeves Road when it was the terminus for the 48 and 49 buses in the early 50s
