Blaven and Clach Glas on Skye lastweek when it briefly stopped pissing down for five minutes. We should have been up there this week as it's been the sunniest and warmest place in Scotland.
As usual the weather was mostly pish so we were in the pub looking for alternative routes in the off chance the weather improved from it's typical Scottish bank holiday mode.
By chance we turned our attention to the SMC climbing guide Scrambles on Skye
which has one of the greatest route descriptions ever... 'a painful crawl over sharp rocks then take the gully on the left with an horrific drop!' Superb stuff!
Zoomed version of the ridge.... my all time favourite mountain without having to get the climbing gear out!
