The Kelvingrove Tunnel (once part of the same Central Glasgow Railway line as the Botanics Station and Kirklee/Kelvinbridge tunnel), which is normally rendered impenetrable due to a steel gate and a heavy duty padlock, is currently accessible, thanks to some cad with a crowbar bending back one of the bars.

Here's a video I made of my explorations therein, fascinating I'm sure you'll agree:

Aye, nice video. Of course, we wouldn't want to encourage trespassing of any sort...

We didn't break the gate; my mate noticed it was damaged while walking along the Kelvin with his girlfriend, so he came to tell me and I grabbed my camera. There were no signs or warnings to "keep out", and no one there to tell us to leave, so I'd assume this comes under the good old Scottish "right to roam".

Cheers man. Gonna do a similar one for the Botanics Station soon, and maybe Lennox Castle Hospital at some point too, if it's still possible.

Just be careful and mindful that there has been road strengthening works going on in the tunnels

Duly noted, matey, cheers.

I did notice the other week there were some workies drilling at the side of Great Western Road, and climbing in and out of a hole in the ground right above where the Botanics station is.
